I’m a web developer with a passion for retro gaming, having grown up with the Commodore 64, the Amiga 500, 16-bit consoles, and every generation of PlayStation released so far. I founded Retro-Gamers.it in 2020, during the pandemic. I’m also an Apple enthusiast, and I somewhat poetically see Apple as Commodore’s spiritual heir because of that same drive to innovate. Technology in general has always fascinated me. Fantasy and adventure are my favorite genres. I love the worlds created by J.R.R. Tolkien and George Lucas, and I consider The Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and the great graphic adventures of the 1990s to be some of my main reference points across literature, cinema, and video games. Among the more recent games I’ve played, The Last of Us and Uncharted are definitely two of the series that impressed me the most for their storytelling and gameplay. Born in Genoa and a passionate Sampdoria supporter, I try to tell, with passion and the perspective of someone who actually lived through that era, the stories, people, and ideas that shaped the years when creating a video game could take just a handful of people, a computer, and a shared passion.
