Retro Games Ltd

Retro Games Ltd is a British company formed by professionals with extensive experience in video game development, production and the creation of hardware for retro gaming. Members of the team had previously worked on the C64DTV and the release of Commodore 64 games for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console, helping shape an approach based on accessible products, official licences and practical everyday use.

The company became widely known through THEC64 Mini and its later full-size version, followed by THEVIC20, THEA500 Mini, THE400 Mini and The Spectrum. These systems recreate historic computers in modern formats, with pre-installed games, HDMI output, dedicated controllers and support for loading additional software. With THEA1200, Retro Games Ltd extended the same approach to the Amiga 1200 design, retaining a full-size keyboard while integrating Workbench and a selection of games. The company operates internationally from the United Kingdom and works with distribution partners and rights holders to bring classic platforms back to market in contemporary form.
